Hey ya'll, I'm Emily, the creator of Dismantled Fashions. I've been rocking DIY for over 4 years seriously, and a lot longer than that just for fun. I've been sewing since I was a kid thanks to watching my mother, and one day decided to make it my life.

Dismantled Fashions started in 2004 with simple punk rock DIY roots, just as a way for me to get creative. I was making things for myself then starting selling a couple things here and there just to get rid of the things I made that didn't fit me. The more I made and sold, the more I loved it. As my skills got better, and I got older, I've evolved into a more refined rockabilly/psychobilly style with signature lines perfect for any body! I do all types of custom clothing now as well as great accessories. You could describe the style with anything from 50's youth rebellion, horror movies, to classic glamour. I love to mix things you wouldn't expect and put twists on old things. Like my slogan says, Retro class meets modern trash!
